Mr. Lynch has been employed by axonX since December 2005, and has served as the manager of technical services. Prior to joining axonX, Mr. Lynch was a consultant at Hughes Associates, Inc. where he contributed to a variety of fire related research, testing and development programs. As the manager of technical services he is responsible for fire related research, the development of Video Image Detection (VID) technologies, approvals testing, certification training and VID system implementation. He is a member or the Salamander Honorary Fire Protection Engineering Society, the National Fire Protection Association, the Society of Fire Protection Engineers, and the International Association Fire Safety Science. Mr. Lynchs educational background includes: a B.S. in mechanical engineering from WPI and he completed a M.S. degree in fire protection engineering in 2004 from WPI.

The presentation will provide an overview of the technology, discussing the video analytics on board an IP camera as well as the network video recorder. Mandated codes and approvals which will lead to the design and installation of the system will be reviewed. The system architecture for several differing facilities will be discussed highlighting differences to suit end user, AHJ, or application needs. Video of testing conducted at each installation as well as event data will be shown as a measure of success. Great session for dealer, installers, integrators, system designers.
